Chicago, IL – Building Bridges to Economic Security

Chicago, IL

September 20

Wider Opportunities for Women (WOW) is set to release the findings of a nationwide poll in five regional meetings across the country in September and October. These meetings will provide a venue for advocates and service providers to hear tested messages that the public is receptive to and to create education and outreach strategies for their specific niche, but with a shared goal and language of economic security. The economic vulnerabilities facing Americans today are staggering and include inadequate health care, risk of homelessness, hunger, lack of job skills and poverty in old age. It is important that the organizations that address these issues know how to effectively communicate with those they serve.

Registration information in forthcoming.  To learn more, please visit WOW’s website:  http://www.wowonline.org/buildingbridges/index.asp
