In the spirit of Ramadan and Fighting Poverty with Faith, Islamic Relief USA hosts “Day of Dignity,” where communities around the country come together to provide services to homeless individuals and families in need to promote their well-being.  Day of Dignity is a grassroots effort coordinated by thousands of volunteers who distribute clothing, hygiene items, toys and food, and provide free health screenings.  Every year, Day of Dignity provides services to over 25,000 individuals in need throughout the US.  For more information on the Boston Day of Dignity event, contact Siham Jihad, miss.morroco@yahoo.com, Serene.heart1@gmail.com, 617.207.9370.
